MAKERS AND TRADERS OF 20mm, 25mm, 30mm METAL WARGAMES
AND DIORAMA FIGURES and 54mm TOY/MODEL soldiers

Welcome to the world of Spencer Smith Miniatures. To many of you we are like a comfortable pair of gloves; been around a long time, or as we should say "Old soldiers and wargaming companies never die", or better still (after Johnnie Walker), "Over 30 Years old and still going strong".
We have been around since the early 'sixties, and until recently we produced the famous plastic figures, but now all our figures are in metal. Our figures feature in many of the early books and articles on wargaming, particularly by Donald Featherstone, Charles Grant and Stuart Asquith. We have greatly increased the old ranges and will continue to do so, but keeping to a simplistic style as they appeared in the old plastic days. Our ranges cover the American Civil War, American War of Independence, the Seven Years War, the Wars of the Austrian Succession and the Zulu War. The 'connoisseur' figures in the AWI range were designed by Barry Minot.
For those new to Spencer Smith figures, please bear in mind that our figures are stylistic, with little detail, but exactly proportioned and easy to paint. This is reflected in the low prices we charge.
We also import direct from Sweden the famous range of 30mm WILLIE /TRADITION and HOLGER ERIKSSON figures and the TRADITION 25mm range, which were also produced in the 'sixties and 'seventies and designed by Stadden, Suren and Holger Eriksson, giant (not their size but their reputation you understand!) figure designers of their (and any) time. Because we import direct from Sweden, please allow 28 days for delivery.
Recently, we have revived the splendid range of JACKLEX 20mm figures, covering several periods. We are very excited about this, and continue to bring new moulds to life.
And finally, we are delighted to announce the brand new range of 42mm Shiny Toy Soldiers, sculpted by Aly Morrison, famous for his work with Games Workshop and Great War Miniatures. These marvellous, multi-part figures are packed with nostalgia, and reminiscent of the figures used by H G Wells and others in the very early days of wargaming, when a Persian rug, piled books and childrens' wooden scenery would have been the norm for gaming scenery. En masse, they look wonderful; individually, they are elegant and full of movement and life. We are delighted to be able to offer them for sale here.
